About AlphaLum

AlphaLum develops optical and sensing architectures that expand what's possible in wearable AI, augmented reality, and mixed reality. We are building the user interface layer every device maker and AI company will need to create the scalable AI glasses and AR devices of the future.

AlphaLum’s team of experts has built this class of technology at production scale. Our team is 35+ deep-tech experts from Intel, Magic Leap, Heptagon, and ams-OSRAM. With 47 patents across 25+ families to our names, we have been working in optics, AR/VR, and consumer electronics for 15 years.

Our facility is based in Lausanne, Switzerland, near the EPFL campus, an area known for innovation in AI, optics, and consumer electronics. In 2025, we raised a 3.4M CHF seed round led by VSquared Ventures.

Our mission: AlphaLum makes the next computing platform wearable. With new optical and sensing architecture, AI connects with human perception and wearable AI scales to millions of users.
